Rain, Rain, Rain

It has been raining here for the last week straight...
Those kind of nights when you get woke up by thunder @ 2am.
Leads to great sleep and naps,
but after 5 days of it.....
DREARY!

Camden is back to her old self and feeling so much better
with a little bit of a lingering cough.

Tomorrow starts the countdown until Micah Moos birthday party.
We are having in the FLC building @ our church (Gymnasium)
Come baby #3, I was fine with a little home party, but my mommy guilt got the best of me.
Camden hope had a Luau for her first birthday and Berkleigh Faith had
a house full of guests at her princess party.
I don't want Micah to look back at pics and wonder about his first birthday.
However, this momma is doing this party on a budget and I bet it is the best one yet...
Don't tell the girls I said that :)

We are going to rock his first birthday Circus style.....

Tonight was suppose to be date night with our church married couples group.
It was cancelled at last minute, so Dax,the kids and I went out to eat @ Fuzzy's.
We swung by Wal Mart on the way home to pick up a few party things for next week
and let the girls pick out their gift for Micah.
As we were headed back to the house when we saw that
Chick Fil A was having an outdoor concert.
Just so happens it was our favorite Nanny Tenisha singing
with the group called Sun Standing Still...
Great time of worship...ice cream and  dancing.
Everyone skipped baths, hopped in bed an hour past bed time...
Love an unplanned family fun night!

Here's a pic of my guys from last night! Daddy does bath time each night and
Micah LOVES to splash and soak Daddy.
Love me a clean little Moo!

I make personalized vinyl items and have a blast doing it.
So happy that I can do something creative, from home and bring in a bit of
spending money as well.
I am so blessed to be able to stay home with my kids.

Sippy cups, snack traps and formula containers

 SO MANY TUMBLERS !!!!!

I LOVE being able to design something unique and specific for each person.
Pray that God will continue to bless me with opportunities to expand while keeping
with our family schedule and having time together.

Bronchitis for Camden

Camden woke up this morning feel just as lousy as her last 6 days, so we headed in to see Dr. Brown. After a breathing treatment and a good look over, she was diagnosed with Bronchitis and sent home on an antibiotic, oral steroids, albuterol breathing treatments and a cough suppressant with codeine for bed. By the evening she was starting to perk up a bit and I think she just may get out of her pajamas tomorrow.....
Ready for my girl to get feeling better.

Updates...

Just a few updates on what is happening around our house.

My dad met with the oncologist and he had a Chronic slow growing Leukemia that is treatable. His Dr. is very confident that he can get my Dad into remission if not healed completely. Tomorrow morning my dad will have a PICC line put in and then he will start Chemo on Thursday. I am happy to hear he will be getting a PICC line because needles are far from my dad's favorite things, but with that being said....I know he is nervous about tomorrow.

The kids and I are going to mail out a package for him tomorrow. It will have 7 small "rewards" in it. When I explained that Papa was going to have to have 7 days of a really strong medication and it may make him not feel very good, they decided we needed to send him a "reward" for each day that he "took" his medicine. I thought it sounded fabulous...so off to the post office we will go.

Camden is still not feeling well, at one point today her fever was 103....what is kicking this girls bottom? She has been in PJ's for the last 4 days at least and just wants to lay around....and THAT COUGH. I feel so bad for her. We may have to visit the fabulous Dr. Brown tomorrow and see whats up. I did take her this past Thursday and she was negative for strep and flu.....so we are thinking a virus, but almost 1 week of this is enough for me.

Berkleigh is fabulous as ever and my easy peasy. She has been bummed though with Camden not feeling well. She is so attached to her and wants her to play....LOVE my girls.

Mr Micah Moo is my busy guy. He has perfected crawling, thinks he is on a roller derby team when he is in his walker, and now is standing without support..WHAT???? Is her seriously going to be 1 this month? He is into everything and is such a joy. Although I am learning to adjust to the aggressiveness of a little boy, he is as sweet as can be all wrapped up into one. I heart my little man.
I think we may have a drummer on our hands! He LOVES to bang on the pots and pans.

He loves to play Wii with Sissy.
And you can't see it in this pictures, but Micah emptied his entire sippy cup on the floor and is have a great time splashing in it.
What flowers? You mean this drawer wasn't for me?
BUSY, BUSY,BUSY BOY!

Independence Day 2012

Today was a wonderful day. We all slept in a bit and just lounged around for the morning...so nice to just sit and chat and enjoy each other.

Camden is still not feeling fabulous and has a cough that is driving her and everyone in the house crazy. Running fevers still too. We are going to load her up with some Motrin and hope she feels up to some fireworks later.

Later in the afternoon we headed up to our church for the Fourth of July Cook out and games. We all snagged a bite to eat, the girls played some carnival games, jumped in the bounce house and even took some time to participate in the watermelon seed spitting contest. When Berkleigh heard it announced she said," Momma, I want to play the seed spitting game, even if I don't win, I still want to play." So off we went:)

The girls shared a piece of watermelon and spit the best they knew how (Which wasn't very good, because Momma has taught them that girls do not spit)

Later we headed downtown to watch the fireworks. We took our chairs and blanket. I got the girls the glow in the dark bracelets...everyone was decked out in their fourth of July attire.

This was Micah's first 4th of July and we weren't sure what he was going to think. Camden's first 4th was spent with her sleeping in the beach condo and us watching through the window. Then Berkleigh slept through her first 4th....and Micah...well, he loved it. He sat on Daddy's lap for about 3-4 mins and just stared. And then he was done and wanted to crawl around and eat dirt. He is ALL boy!

Our July so far.....

My dad went into the Dr's to have his blood pressure checked and found out that he most likely has Leukemia. He is scheduled this week to meet with an oncologist to discuss his results and have more testing done.Praying for a good word from the oncologist. Here is a picture of my mom and Dad with the kids on our trip to Florida this past Spring.
Today I took the girls rollerskating and met up with a few of their friends. Berkleigh usually skates with a "walker" and does pretty good, but she decided she was doing it on her own and she did fabulous. She owned the rink....She rocked it around like she was a pro...she is getting so big.Even blowed her first bubble this week with bubble gum.
Camden started not feeling very good while we were at the skating rink. I knew something was up when she wasn't skating and requested to lay down once we got home. She running a bit of a temp, but once Motrin is in she feels pretty good. Praying she feels better for tomorrows festivities. Tomorrow Dax is off of work and home all day with us to celebrate the 4th. LOVE when Daddy is home with us and we can all hang out together.
